Hi Nathan,

I'm very impressed by the efforts you are making to get OpenLink on the rails.
Till now I have not found any other software which can provide a same stresstest level. (another famous provider of databases is lacking the knowledge and drive for semantic technologies).

I have the intention to apply semantic web techniques to controlled data.

Since I'm no IT-person, but a person who had the opportunity to apply IT technology in business circumstances, I have no other requirements to the used technology than performance.
Therefor I hope OpenLink may be successfull.

I have approached in the recent past hundreds of financial institutions with the advantages of sem tech.Very few, near to non gave response. The least we can say is that finance is an industry in which knowledge representation and transformation in applications which would be interesten in all technologies at hand. I'm affraid that from business persons (speaking for my own compartment thus) the ability to control business processes is not sufficiently present. This means the great benefit is not recognised.

Therefor I try to develop a showcase, which will eventually grow as a cloud service, with as target the finance industry. That's where my knowledge lies.

I took some unpaid leave for 1 year in the hope to realize an embryo in that short time-span.

On the website you will find out I went from business needs, search for solutions, coming to knowledge representation techniques to knowledge implementation techniques.
This is not the common way, mostly I meet technically highly skilled people who are fascinated by the technique and their possibilities.
In the development process, I thus meet top-down implementation approaches, while I've got a down/top approach. As known, a meeting of both is the best approach.

After looking at the website, you feel interested in the industry and thoughts, we could evaluate if our collaboration could result in something more concrete.
We could e.g. draw a business plan and look after some financing. Continuing without external financing has the benefit of independence...

Feel free to let know your feelings about the idea.
We are today not many I'm affraid and sometimes I feel preaching in the desert (but remain optimistic).
