Nathan, a 28 year old programmer from Scotland.
I've been a web developer, programmer, application architect and systems administrator for the past decade professionally. Ultimately it's the just the way my brain works, comes naturally rather than forced, and I love to learn new things every day - specifically in the online development world.
Luckily, my work is my interest, additionally I love digital art and music of many genres; my end goal (at the moment) is to use my programming skills to render music in real time as art, not sure exactly how or what the end product will be, but it will be good.

outside of the web arena, I also have a real life (not all too common amongst developers ;), I'm a father and my better half (and muse) is the simply fabulous Rachel (aka DJ Fable), music lover, mother, and owner/manager of citybeat radio, notable others in my daily life include my own mother, my long lost big brother also called Nathan and my best (online) friend.. yet another Nathan.

never sure what to put here, it's a big list but to keep it short currently specializing in Java, PHP OO, ActionScript 3/Flex and ever increasingly haXe/neko (no specialist in haXe/neko though!).
Previously I've held senior developer position in Perl, Coldfusion, ASP, originally trained in c and visual basic and grew up learning cobol, pascal, assembly etc.
All of which is rather un-important imho, my most valuable skills are in general programming and application design (which spans many languages) and solid understanding of how these things work inside and out. Focus of this knowledge is generally pointed towards web based systems.
